Bolton

The relocation of the current Moor Lane bus station will be brought forward and it will be rebuilt as a state-of-the-art gateway into Bolton, close to the existing train stations including Lostock, Hall i'th'Wood, Bromley Cross, Blackrod, Westhoughton and Daisy Hill will be refurbished and much needed new platforms will also be built at Lostock. There will also be an increase in the capacity of peak-time trains.

A new rapid bus service will be created running every 8 minutes during the day to and from Bolton, through Farnworth and Kearsley and Manchester city centre.
